Role Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a wide range of new products and services, directly contributing to the evolution of Airlines and Avionics manufacturers’ operations. Reporting to the Senior Project Portfolio Manager, this role offers the unique opportunity to work across all internal functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Product, etc.) in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your primary focus will be on projects related to Air Traffic Control and Aircraft Communications solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the project lifecycle from inception to closure, including scoping, planning, delivery, transition to operations, and finalization, ensuring stakeholder and business expectations are met.
- Effectively understand and convey internal requirements, devising strategies with the input of technical experts.
- Define resource needs and manage large, diverse cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Maintain control over project requirements, timelines, budgets, and schedules, proactively addressing potential issues.
- Oversee project governance, including status reporting, risk mitigation, and managing changes in scope, schedule, and costs.
- Cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders and manage project communications effectively.
- Promote a customer-focused, growth-oriented team culture.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s Degree complemented by solid business experience.
- PMP Certification (or in the process of obtaining it within the first year of contracting).
- Over 5 years of project management experience with a technical aptitude, including hands-on experience with scrum Agile methodologies.
- Self-motivated and team-oriented, with a positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work autonomously and juggle multiple priorities.
- Experience in the Airline industry, Air Traffic management, or Telecom is highly desirable.
- A proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects of varying sizes, complexities, budgets, and deliverables.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with technical teams, commercial and operations staff, and senior management.
- Advanced level of English is required; fluency in French is a significant plus.
Additional Requirements (MUST!):
- Candidates MUST be willing to work onsite in Barcelona for 3 days per week.
- Experience with Air Traffic Controls (ATC)/ Air Traffic Management (ATM) or working with Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs)-
